Sunsets was beautifully decorating the sky when my friend and I were on a journey to the uptown. Its red-orange shine brought me to the hospitality atmosphere of Jogja. We were taking a trans-jogja at that time.. I had enough time to observe my surrounding. When I looked out the window, I saw an old lady begging on a junction besides the traffic light. She wore an old traditional Javanese clothe called Kebaya. Her kebaya was already old and dusty. She got rejected over and over again by cars’ drivers queued on the junction wait for their turn to move. Every time people ignored her begging, she just returned to the side of the street and took a sit counting her money. I just wonder if she was alone in this world. Or if she had someone, where is he/she? Doesn’t her have children? Where are they then? How could they leave their mother roaming the street begging for 100rupiah?
